The person hired on this position is responsible for the proper functioning of the subordinate team. Cares about customer satisfaction through cost, quality, delivery management, take part in final stage of new products implementation. Eliminates gaps and improves process flow in accordance with the guidelines and manages the team to achieve goals. Manages assigned tools, components and processes in the supply chain. Co-operates with other production team leaders to achieve the highest consistency and functionality. Ensures compliance with relevant company processes and standards. Is responsible for the functioning of the subordinate cost centers and planned budget. Manages work of subordinate staff, cares about their development, reports and results. Is responsible for safety and technical conditions of subordinate production lines.

The job holder is obliged to do the work conscientiously and carefully and respect valid regulations regarding working hours, internal work regulations, rules and principles of health and safety, fire and environmental protection, company confidentiality, the rules of social intercourse and take care of the welfare of the plant.




  • Co-creating and implementing ZF culture.
  • Achieving production, quality, cost and delivery goals.
  • Planning resources necessary for optimal operating (Personnel, AOP, fixed assets, etc.).
  • Promoting QR6S, Six Sigma and Lean in subordinate teams, accountability for implementation of improvement actions submitted by subordinates.
  • Implementing and accountability for local and global initiatives, as well as new launches.
  • Planning, achieving and controlling (responsibility) for budget, production volume, CCP, NMP projects and accountability for Material Productivity and other KPI’s.
  • Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the manufacturing process specifications/standards ISO 14001, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001 and specific requirements of the customer/regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring timely execution of corrective actions to eliminate the nonconformities and their causes.
  • Providing safety for all subordinate employees under law restrictions.
  • Respecting and ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety and environment requirements by the subordinate team.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws in subordinate team.
  • Managing proper HRM process in subordinate teams: assessment, development and training of subordinate employees.
  • Recommending individual decisions regarding salaries and benefits in accordance with internal policies.
  • Ensuring company confidentiality in scope of technological, product, HR and financial issues.
  • Ensuring and enforcement of assigned company property.





Continuous Improvement:

Apply ongoing efforts to improve products, services, or processes. Constantly evaluate and improve those in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility.



Follow all requirements that are defined on work instructions and M&L/ISC group standards.

Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls.

Report and react on all incidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies.



Apply, execute and maintain function related quality issues.


In addition to the above-mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.




  • Authority to stop production processes in case of any nonconformity related to quality, health and safety or environment risks.
  • Timely execution of corrective actions to eliminate nonconformities and their causes.
  • Other - in compliance with Delegation of Authorities (DOA).
  • Giving instructions to the official subordinate employees within the range defined by the law.
  • Takes decisions representing employer in situation of health and life risk, and in case violation of valid legislation.



  • Work experience in manufacturing organization, preferably automotive sector
  • Ability to work in matrix organization
  • Practice in Six Sigma/ Lean work environment



  • Good understanding of processes and products
  • Good understanding of QMS:  ISO 14001, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001
  • Understanding of Quality, Safety and Environmental Systems Documentation
  • Good knowledge of quality management tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow)
  • Knowledge of specific customer requirements
  • Knowledge of technical documentation in processes (process flow, FMEA, control plan, work instructions)
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma Lean methodology
  • Knowledge of Finance - income statement, budgeting
  • Knowledge of Labor, Health and Safety Law
  • Knowledge of MS Office, and particular modules of PLM
  • English communication skills

Employees must complete general safety training such as Right to Know (includes: Hazardous Communication, Emergency Response Plan, AWAIR, and Forklift & Pedestrian Safety) annually. The employee is to report any unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, near misses, illnesses, and injuries to their supervisor immediately.



High School Diploma or GED required, associates or technical certification preferred and 1-3 years supervisory experience.



Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 



Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.



Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring tool/instruments.  Ability to operate a computer and have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
